1. Introduction

Welcome to E-Fix (“we,” “our,” or “us”).

E-Fix is a digital platform that connects customers (“Users”) with independent artisans (“Service Providers”) for various services including repairs, installations, and maintenance.

By accessing or using the E-Fix mobile application or services (the “Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”).

If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.


2. Eligibility

To use E-Fix, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement

3. Nature of the Platform

E-Fix is not a service provider.

We act solely as an intermediary connecting Users with independent artisans.

  • Artisans are not employees, agents, or representatives of E-Fix
  • We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of services provided

4. User Accounts

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information during registration
  • Keep your login credentials secure
  • Be responsible for all activities under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.


5. Booking and Services

  • Users may request services through the Platform
  • Artisans may accept or decline requests
  • Once accepted, a service agreement is formed directly between the User and the Artisan

E-Fix is not a party to this agreement.


6. Payments

  • Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers
  • E-Fix may charge a service fee or commission
  • Users agree to pay all applicable fees for services requested

We are not responsible for:

  • Payment disputes between Users and Artisans
  • Cash transactions conducted outside the Platform

7. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellation policies may vary by artisan
  • Refunds are handled based on the circumstances of the dispute

E-Fix reserves the right to mediate disputes but does not guarantee refunds.


8. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Provide false or misleading information
  • Use the Platform for illegal or fraudulent activities
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Circumvent the Platform to avoid fees

Violation may result in account suspension or termination.


9. Artisan Responsibilities

Artisans agree to:

  • Provide services professionally and safely
  • Possess required skills, licenses, and qualifications
  • Deliver services as agreed with customers

E-Fix does not independently verify all credentials and is not liable for service outcomes.


10. Ratings and Reviews

  • Users may rate and review artisans
  • Reviews must be honest and not defamatory

We reserve the right to remove inappropriate content.


11. Intellectual Property

All content on E-Fix (logos, designs, text, software) is owned by E-Fix or its licensors.

You may not copy, modify, or distribute any content without permission.


12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

E-Fix shall not be liable for:

  • Damages arising from services provided by artisans
  • Loss of property, injury, or disputes between users
  • Service delays, interruptions, or platform errors

Use of the Platform is at your own risk.


13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold E-Fix harmless from any claims, damages, or losses arising from:

  • Your use of the Platform
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your interactions with other users

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

  • You violate these Terms
  • We suspect fraudulent or harmful activity

You may stop using the Platform at any time.


15. Privacy

Your use of E-Fix is also governed by our Privacy Policy.


16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.


17. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes shall be resolved through:

  1. Negotiation
  2. Mediation
  3. Arbitration (if necessary)

Before pursuing legal action.


18. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform means you accept the updated Terms.
